The Cyberjaya center will provide competency based services, as well as multilingual capabilities, and be a Center of Excellence (CoE) for software distribution and packaging. To help develop the necessary local skills, IBM is basing an international leadership team in Cyberjaya to ensure ongoing sharing and development of knowledge and expertise.
Via a separate commercial agreement also signed today, IBM will help the Skolkovo Foundation to develop an intellectual property management system to boost innovation at the Skolkovo Innovation Center. As part of this agreement, IBM will license know-how to the Skolkovo Foundation to enable its specialists to use the latest approaches in the development and commercialization of competitive technologies.
The project is one of several aimed at transforming city operations over the next five years by replacing legacy computer systems. Oracle Insurance Claims Adjudication for Health integrates easily with financial systems – such as Oracle E-Business Suite – for end-to-end claims processing and payment.
